“ Nothing fancy about the location but the food at this family owned resturant is always hot and tasty. French toast is . Biscuits n gravy steak/ eggs chorizo large portions at this truck stop. ”
“ The Chicken fried steak with perfect over medium eggs hash browns and biscuits and gravy I devoured was FIRE! ”
“ Breakfast for me and my coworkers. The food was good. The diner is a real truck stop and will take you back to the 70's. I imagine when the spot was new and clean, I'm sure it was something. The long counter, the booths, the clocks around the ceiling from different states, the empty pie refrigerators with the slanted holders and mirrors, the hole in the wall where the orders went in and a few minutes later the food came out. Sorry got nostalgic for a sec. Man this is quite a spot with the trucks parked outside. The staff is very friendly and the food was very good. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs with biscuits and gravy. My steak was tender and my eggs were on point. I will be back, I want to try the fresh squeezed orange juice. I recommend this place whole heartedly. ”
“ Found this place in a Google search. Had to kill some time for breakfast. They had the best chicken fried steak I’ve had in a long time! My server was very nice and attentive. It wasn’t busy so it’s hard to rate the service when I was the only person seated at the time. They did have several to go orders though. Back to the food...the chicken fried steak was perfectly fried and very flavorful. The country gravy on top was very well done! Good flavor and not too peppery. The eggs were cooked perfectly. And the pancakes were very good. I don’t know when or if I’ll be in the area any time soon. But I’ll definitely go back. ”
“ Wow! What an incredible plate of food! I ordered carne asada with shrimp and I am surprised I was able to eat it all. Definitely worth the money and the flavours were what kept you going. Nice cozy little place in the corner of a truckstop. ”
“ Goody's is a great little greasy spoon. I work nights, and they open early, so from time, to time, I will stop in for an hearty breakfast. My go to is the country breakfast, which comes with bacon, sausage and ham, three eggs, and your choice of country potatoes, or hash browns. It's quite filling, and tasty. I decided to try the chicken fried steak and eggs today, and was pleasantly surprised. The steak was tender enough to cut with a fork, and the gravy was the perfect accompaniment. You get a choice of pancakes, or toast, I chose toast. I really enjoy this place, and totally recommend coming in, and sitting a spell. ”
